About the Tehama County Transportation Commission
The Tehama County Transportation Commission (TCTC) serves as the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA) for Tehama County and is responsible for transportation planning, funding administration, and coordination of transportation programs throughout the region.
Established under California’s Transportation Development Act (TDA) of 1971, TCTC works in partnership with local agencies, Caltrans, transportation providers, and community stakeholders to support safe, efficient, and reliable mobility throughout Tehama County.
Through regional planning efforts, transportation funding programs, and collaborative agreements such as those supporting the Tehama Rural Area eXpress (TRAX) transit system, TCTC helps guide investments that improve transportation infrastructure and enhance mobility opportunities for residents, businesses, and visitors.
